This recipe for Veal and Onions has a really nice caramelised onion flavour. It is a quick and easy dinner choice.
- 6 slices of veal
- 2 large onions
- 1 tbls ghee
- sea salt
- Tenderise your veal slices with a kitchen mallet between two sheets of plastic wrap then season with salt and pepper and set aside.
- Heat the ghee in the frypan and sauté onions slowly with a pinch of salt so that the onions are caramelised and soft. About 20 min
- When the onions are cooked turn the heat to medium and add the veal pieces to the pan and turn when they are sealed on each side, to avoid over cooking the meat don't cook for long. The juice from the meat will cook with the onions. When the veal is cooked remove and top with the onions.
